Brownies

RECIPE #1 INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup of almond butter or tahini
-
1/2 cup of cooked sweet potato
-
1 large egg
-
1/3 cup of 100% raw cocoa powder (baking soda free)
-
1/3 cup raw honey
-
1/2 tsp. baking soda (aluminum-free)
-
1/4 cup of 90% chocolate chips or chunks
RECIPE #2 INGREDIENTS
-
1/2 cup of almond butter or tahini
-
1/2 cup of cooked pumpkin
-
1 large egg
-
1/3 cup of 100% raw cocoa powder (baking soda free)
-
1/3 cup of monk fruit
-
1/2 tsp. baking soda (aluminum-free)
-
1/4 cup of 90% chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
-
Pre-heat over to 350
-
Mix together almond butter/tahini, pumpkin/sweet potato, monk fruit/honey and egg
-
Stir in cocoa powder and baking soda to wet mixture until combined
-
Fold in chocolate chips
-
Pour batter into a greased 8×8 baking dish
-
Bake for 20-25 min. until centre bounces back
-
Let cool, portion into squares and enjoy!
Note: These brownie recipes are very forgiving, so if you don’t have a certain ingredient feel free to swap with something else. Ex. honey can be replaced with maple syrup.
