Emma Levez Larocque

Communications Manager

Emma Levez Larocque is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (2016), a Certified Plant-Based Chef, and a Food For Life Instructor with the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine. Since graduating from CSNN she has been working in community education, offering nutrition and cooking classes, workshops and consulting through her business Plant-Based R.H.N.

Emma is passionate about helping people take control of their health outcomes through lifestyle and diet improvements. In 2019 she launched the online Plant-Based Eating Support Network Group, which provides ongoing support for people who are looking to make healthy diet and lifestyle changes.

Prior to her mid-life career focus change Emma worked as a journalist, editor, author and literacy educator (and she has continued to work in communications part time). She is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (English & Anthropology) in Waterloo, Ontario and Langara College (Journalism) in Vancouver, B.C.

Emma enjoys everything outdoors, practices meditation and yoga, and is an avid runner and mountain biker. One of her life goals is to contribute to a more equitable, compassionate planet for everyone who shares it. She lives on the west coast of B.C. and loves to read, scratch cook and spend time with her family and friends.
