Lorene Sauro has been a holistic nutrition professional for 22 years and a food professional for 30 years. She graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ in 1999. Lorene used her health knowledge to successfully resolved her issue with endometriosis. The key component for this victory was learning the gut health piece for her condition. Since then she has focused on reading the research about the gut and sharing it with her fellow practitioners. As co-founder of the Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference and the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro) she has taught hundreds of holistic nutrition students and graduates, helping them with their educational and professional needs. She is a teacher at CSNN, food developer, acclaimed speaker and published author. She founded the Functional Microbiome Program, the Functional Hormone Balance Program and the Inspired Learning Hub webinar series for practitioners. This is to help provide accurate information and the latest research about food and the wellness industry today to her fellow professionals. Kara Fitzgerald, ND, received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed the first Counsel on Naturopathic Medicine-accredited post-doctorate position in nutritional biochemistry and laboratory science at Metametrix Clinical Laboratory (now Genova Diagnostics) under the direction of Richard Lord, PhD. Her residency was completed at Progressive Medical Center, a large, integrative medical practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Fitzgerald is the lead author and editor of ``Case Studies in Integrative and Functional Medicine`` and is a contributing author to ``Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM)’s Textbook for Functional Medicine``. With the Helfgott Research Institute, Dr. Fitzgerald is actively engaged in clinical research on the DNA methylome using a diet and lifestyle intervention developed in her practice. The first publication from the study focuses on reversal of biological aging and was published April 12, 2021 in the journal ``Aging``. A consumer book and application-based program with DNA methylation assessment are scheduled for release in 2022. Dr. Fitzgerald is on the faculty at IFM, is an IFM Certified Practitioner and lectures globally on functional medicine. She runs a Functional Medicine Clinic Immersion program for professionals, and maintains a podcast series called ``New Frontiers in Functional Medicine`` and an active blog on her website, www.drkarafitzgerald.com. Her clinical practice is in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Andrea Donsky is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, media personality, entrepreneur, best-selling author, health and wellness lifestyle expert, menopause educator and podcast host. She is the co-founder of NaturallySavvy.com, a multiple-award-winning website, and Wearemorphus.com (together with her business partner, Randy Boyer).
